About Us:
Tax Goddess is a dynamic company that requires a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Expert Tax Preparer. We are looking for someone with a strong background in US Tax procedures and regulations, preferably with experience in State Income Taxes (Nexus) and Transfer Pricing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare personal and business tax returns, extension estimates, and projections of tax liability
- Conduct tax research and review tax returns for accuracy and completeness
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding their tax needs and status
- Report project status to management and maintain data privacy between the firm and clients
- Manage data-driven areas of the Tax team
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a tax preparer in the US Tax industry
- Solid tax information-analytical skills
- Associate's degree in tax (preferred US tax), accounting, business, administration, or similar
- Ability to stay organized and focused in a busy environment
- Can work a minimum of 50+ hours during tax season and 40+ hours on other days
