We are seeking a skilled Payroll Coordinator to join our team at Amazon Support Services Costa Rica Srl - B20. As a key member of our payroll department, you will be responsible for owning complex processes and acting as a subject matter expert in payroll operations.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will have a strong background in finance, with experience in Accounts Receivable or Account Payable. They will also possess excellent knowledge of standard software, including Excel, Access, Oracle, Essbase, SQL, and VBA skills. Additionally, they will be able to use data to influence business decisions and have experience in corporate finance, including budgeting/planning, forecasting, and reporting.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Gather and validate data from HR, Employee Services, Compensation & Benefits, and legal Compliance.
* Review payroll reports and conduct timely and accurate validations, along with standard controls to meet process targets.
* Perform specific assigned tasks with efficiency to meet SLAs, highest quality standards, and flexibility to support other team processes.
* Stay connected with team priorities and exhibit ownership to identify proactively opportunities to support team tasks and goals.
* Answer queries filed through ticketing system, exhibiting excellent customer service, detailed, strong problem solving to remove operational roadblocks.
What You Will Bring:
* 2+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience.
* Experience in TM1, Data Warehouse, and SQL.
