Material Handler

As a Material Handler at Edwards Lifesciences, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient receipt and transfer of materials for manufacturing lines.

**Key Responsibilities:**

Receive and process material requisitions from the warehouse, and send materials as needed to maintain production continuity. Place orders for materials with the warehouse team and supply production lines with necessary materials, fixtures, and tools.

Key responsibilities also include loading materials into the Work Order (WO) system in JDE, managing the entry and exit of flammable substances from the clean room, and supplying production lines with alcohol swabs.

Additional duties include performing packaging of goods for shipment, creating pick lists and invoices for outbound shipments, and making and preparing materials for cleaning.

Education and Experience:

A high school diploma or equivalent is strongly preferred. Previous experience in a warehouse environment and forklift operation is also preferred.

Additional Skills:

BASIC computer skills with working knowledge of computer systems or software, which typically may include JDE, TRAX, and Forwarder, are preferred.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of and adherence to Edwards Environmental Health and Safety and Quality guidelines as they relate to warehouse operations and clean room medical device manufacturing.
