We are seeking a highly skilled Production Manager - Industrial Maintenance to join our team at Amentum. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals to take on a leadership role and contribute to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee technical support, direction, safety training, audits, and quality control for facility, production, and/or contract employees in an industrial production environment.
- Prioritize work based on client needs and ensure timely completion of tasks while documenting involved processes.
- Provide and/or schedule needed training and cross-training for multi-functional employees, implementing all safety rules and guidelines.
- Schedule, plan, document, maintain performance, and report with the Amentum management team and client.
- Monitor and manage the entry of correct documentation and scheduled maintenance via Maximo/SAP.
- Lead the safety program for the worksite and maintain associated reporting.
- Audit work performance for safety actions and quality of work, providing coaching as needed.
- Review new job requests to differentiate between in-scope and non-scope work, addressing accordingly.
- Maintain effective performance of individual employees and the worksite team.
- Review and approve time reporting.
- Compile, maintain, and present various reports to Amentum management and client teams.
- Participate and document cost savings and root cause analysis.
- A high school diploma or demonstrated equivalent.
- Ten years of experience in a technical role related to industrial production maintenance and/or industrial facilities maintenance, or a demonstrated equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Five years of supervisory experience in industrial production maintenance and/or industrial facilities maintenance.
The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000-$110,000, depending on location and experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
Working Conditions- Some tasks will require repetitive wrist movement.
- Some tasks will require the ability to walk extensively throughout facilities during a workday.
- Requires the ability to read and understand information contained in various documents or displayed on a computer screen.
- Requires the ability to use a variety of office equipment and operate a computer keyboard to access databases, send/receive messages, and prepare documents.
- Requires the ability to attend meetings throughout the site and potentially travel to other Amentum, customer, and/or vendor locations in the area, as well as some air travel to more distant locations.
- Requires the ability to communicate with others on the telephone and in one-on-one or group discussions, meetings, and presentations.
- Requires some moving of light to medium weight materials into desks, filing cabinets, and other storage locations.
