The ArcSight platform collects and correlates user activity and event data across the enterprise to rapidly identify, prioritize, and respond to compliance violations, policy breaches, cyber security attacks, and insider threats.
Job Overview:
The job entails working closely with cross-functional teams to define requirements for system-level code that can be used by our software and appliance products. Key responsibilities include delivering required functionality by deploying third-party solutions or implementing new ones in Java. Successful candidates will have a strong background in functional testing, automation, and management tools such as JIRA, HP QC/ALM, and Perforce.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with Engineering, Product Management, and other cross-functional teams to define requirements for system-level code.
- Deliver required functionality by either deploying third-party solutions or implementing new ones in Java.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure seamless integration of system-level code with software and appliance products.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 4 years of direct experience with Functional testing of Enterprise-class software products.
- Strong experience with Linux and Windows operating Systems.
- Strong networking protocols understanding and experience working with network entities.
- Organized and process-oriented individual with excellent documentation and reporting skills.
- Scrum and Agile experience required.
Desired Experience:
- 4 years of experience in at least one of the Web or Java UI automation frameworks such as Selenium.
- Networking and security experience in configuring network equipment (switches, routers, firewalls).
- Exposure to Core Java, good understanding of concepts like garbage collection, multithreading.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
- Four years of hands-on experience in high-performance database-centric Enterprise-class software environment, preferably in Java.
