**Job Description**

The QA Manager plays a pivotal role in supporting QA teams by allocating resources, ensuring process adherence, and overseeing technical aspects of testing activities.

This individual must be a quality enthusiast with strong risk management skills. They should be comfortable working with various technologies and proficient in Test Management and other testing tools.

The QA Manager will proactively develop skills for QA resources and ensure the effective implementation of testing artifacts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage QA efforts for assigned projects and perform testing execution tasks if needed
  • Create Test Plans and Test Cases to support testing execution
  • Assist upper management with QA resource allocation, LOE estimations, and risk assessments
  • Provide technical support for QA Analysts, guiding process improvement initiatives and adherence to best practices
  • Ensure content and structure of all testing artifacts are documented and maintained
  • Arrange device/hardware/software requirements for test setup
  • Follow up for prompt delivery of different milestones
  • Participate in the recruiting process and make hiring recommendations

Requirements:

  • Proven Leadership and management skills
  • Analytical and process-oriented
  • Capable of independently learning and working with new technologies
  • Strong understanding of front-end web technologies (e.g., HTML/CSS/JavaScript)
  • Strong understanding of back-end technologies (e.g., Java/.Net)
  • Strong understanding of mobile technologies (e.g., iOS/Android)
  • Proficiency in project and bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, Quality Center)
  • Proficiency in test case management tools (e.g., Spira Test, Testlink)
