About the Role
As a Senior Financial Analyst at Experian, you will play a critical role in supporting the Integrated Sales business unit. Your key responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the monthly revenue forecast, sales commission forecast, goal tracking setting, and commission payment calculation.
- Preparing monthly revenue and cost reporting, as well as trend analysis.
- Providing monthly management reports and supporting ad-hoc requests for revenue/cost reporting and analysis.
- Driving standardization and creating efficiencies across financial reporting and analysis models.
- Analyzing and interpreting operating results, investigating variances, and adhering to service level agreements (SLAs) and performance metrics.
- Creating and maintaining desktop procedure documents for routine processes.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field (MBA/CPA preferred).
- English fluency.
- 4+ years of progressive experience in Finance.
- Strong experience with sales forecasting and/or commission/royalties forecasting.
- Knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting concepts.
- Experience dealing with high volumes of data and tight deadlines.
- Experience working with commission/compensation processes (preferred) and partnering with Sales Teams.
- Experience working in an offshore Shared Service Center (preferred).
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience with Tableau, Power BI (a plus).
- Strong Excel skills required; experience/knowledge of financial systems and tools, including OBIEE, Hyperion Planning/Essbase, and Smartview (preferred).
