Job SummaryThe Quality Control Lead will be responsible for overseeing the quality control program at the site level, ensuring that all aircraft and support equipment meet the required standards.
This is a challenging opportunity for a motivated and organized individual who can prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect, test, and calibrate complex aircraft mechanical and electro-mechanical systems
- Perform receiving, in-process, final quality, flight safety inspections, and functional operational tests
- Analyze defects and interpret quality control rejection and failure trends
- Monitor safety, training, and certification requirements
- Supervise and train quality control personnel
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Six years of experience in quality control or a related field
- Four years of experience in supporting an aviation/aerospace program
- Two years of leadership/supervisory experience
- Prior quality control experience
- Host nation language proficiency (Spanish Level 2 in both Listening and Reading)
We are looking for candidates with:
- Previous quality control experience on rotary aircraft
- Knowledge of Army Regulations 95-1, DA PAM 750-8, DA PAM 738-751, ATP 3-04.7, and/or Air Force Technical Orders System
- Familiarity with CFR Part 43, 91, 121, 135, 145 Quality or Inspection procedures
