About the Position:
Join our Boston Scientific Neuromodulation team and make a significant impact. We are looking for a dedicated Electrical Engineer II to help transform the medical device landscape. As an integral member of our team, you will design, develop, and implement cutting-edge electronic circuits for implantable medical devices, directly influencing the quality of life for patients globally.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Develop innovative and dependable electrical circuits and systems utilizing the latest technologies and methodologies.
- Document your engineering processes through clear and concise reports, memos, and change requests, adhering to industry best practices.
- Monitor your project progress and milestones using approved management tools.
- Address complex engineering challenges by applying analytical skills and proposing effective solutions.
- Evaluate and verify electrical requirements, circuits, and systems through rigorous engineering techniques.
- Research and select optimal electronic circuits, components, tools, and practices for your projects.
Qualifications We Seek:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, mechatronics, electronics, or a related discipline.
- Proficient in circuit design tools such as Altium or Orcad, with the ability to prototype PCBs according to specifications.
- Capable of reading and interpreting electronic schematics, with familiarity in lab equipment for PCB testing and characterization.
- English proficiency at B2 level (70% - 79%).
- Preferred knowledge includes experience with scripting languages, PHP and/or Python, as well as skills in networking, problem-solving, and communication.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar hardware design role, with exposure to regulated industries like medical or automotive being advantageous.
