JOB SUMMARY
A Quality Engineering Technician assists with customer complaints analysis, report elaboration, and quality engineer support. Key responsibilities include product release activities, non-conformity investigations, audit observations, CAPAs, customer complaint analysis, data collection, report generation, consumable inventory management, quality record maintenance, and quality system updates.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform product release activities, ensuring compliance with quality procedures and regulations
• Assist quality engineers with production line support, investigation coordination, and quality system document maintenance
• Analyze customer complaints, generate reports, and provide support to quality teams
• Maintain consumables inventories and ensure quality records comply with retention schedules
• Provide database administration support and participate in quality system development
• Collaborate with quality engineers to maintain quality systems and processes
• Act as a coordinator for quality issues and communicate business-related concerns to next-level management
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in a similar position preferred. Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) and knowledge of QSR/ISO are desired. Basic computer skills, including MS Office applications, and quality engineering tools, such as measuring systems analysis and basic statistical analysis, are necessary. ASQ Improvement Associate/Quality Auditor certifications and Process Excellence Green Belt certification are desirable.
