Pfizer's Global Financial Solutions (GFS) Shared Services is a highly respected operation with a rich history, dating back to its inception in 1997 in Memphis, Tennessee. Over the years, the organization has expanded globally, establishing a presence in Europe, Asia, Latin America, and Eastern Europe. In 2016, GFS welcomed Cairo into its network, providing financial shared services support to the AfME region.

The GFS Shared Services Center (SSC) for the Latin America Region (LAR) is a high-performing team responsible for delivering standardized financial processes on behalf of Pfizer. From a regionally centralized location in San Jose, Costa Rica, the organization performs various Record-to-Report, Invoice-to-Pay, Travel & Entertainment, Credit-to-Cash, and other related activities.

As a Chargebacks Analyst, you will play a crucial role in processing chargeback claims for wholesalers in the US and Puerto Rico, resolving exceptions related to contracts, products, and membership in a timely and accurate manner. You will regularly interface with internal and external customers, including GFS Americas, Wholesalers, Contract teams, Business Technology, and A/R and Collections.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Researching chargeback claims submitted from wholesalers and/or distributors, disputing them if necessary by comparing debit memos received to information provided in Pfizer's contracts
  • Collaborating with colleagues within the department to review processes, metrics, industry updates, and issues pertaining to chargebacks and membership
