Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Reservations Expert to join our team at Residence Inn by Marriott. As a key member of our reservations department, you will be responsible for processing all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations in a timely and professional manner.
Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $65,000 per year
About the Role:
This is a full-time position that requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills. You will work closely with guests and colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery and maximum revenue generation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations in a timely and efficient manner
- Verify availability of rooms and rates
- Explain hotel policies and procedures to guests
- Accommodate special requests and document accordingly
- Answer questions about hotel facilities and services
- FOLLOW PROPER ESCALATION PROCEDURES WHEN ADDRESSING GUEST CONCERNS
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1-2 years of experience in hospitality or customer service
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift up to 10 pounds
