About the Position
We are seeking a skilled SQL Server Database Administrator with expertise in managing databases, configuring database servers, and ensuring high system performance and availability. The ideal candidate will have experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), backups, restores, and recovery models, as well as High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server.
The selected individual will be responsible for:
- Managing SQL Server databases to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Configuring and maintaining database servers to meet business requirements.
- Monitoring system health and implementing proactive measures to prevent issues.
- Providing 24x7 support for critical production systems and collaborating with developers on query tuning and schema refinement.
