Job Summary

As a Senior Project Manager at Sysco Costa Rica, you will be responsible for managing the scope, schedule, budget, and quality of projects for individual contributors and supervisors. You will drive delivery within the team, creating long- and short-term plans, setting targets for milestones, adhering to deadlines, and allocating resources. You will delegate tasks on the project to team members best positioned to complete them, engaging within the team to ensure deliverables are met and effective decisions are made for project progression, with support from senior members of the team as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Leads multiple medium-high complexity projects to deliver the agreed outcomes within time, cost, and quality constraints, owning all aspects of projects to deliver approved business functionality to Sysco.
  2. Coordinates with all stakeholders and dependent projects to develop detailed project schedules, defining project activities and phases, critical dates/milestones, and duration estimates, identifying dependencies between multiple distinct projects and monitoring and revising schedules as necessary.
  3. Responsible for co-managing Technical and Business Analyst tasks with available BA resources within the organization, managing the project budget, including purchases and contracts, and monthly spend and resource forecasting.
  4. Obtains cost and overhead estimates and develops project budgets based on the business case, addresses risks, issues, or requests for scope change within areas of responsibility, following established change control processes, and records issues/resolutions.
  5. Owns project- or workstream-level reporting with a predefined subset of reports, adapting reporting and communications to meet stakeholder needs, generating stakeholder communication plans.
  6. Establishes and agrees upon quality indicators for processes and outputs, aligning with relevant stakeholders and referencing the business case, preparing and documenting a quality management plan, aligning with relevant stakeholders and the organization's culture, values, and established processes.
Requirements
  1. 5 years+ project management experience in a project management role, fundamental knowledge of broad technology solutions, including but not limited to: Cyber Security, Infrastructure & Networking, HR/Payroll, ERP, Finance.
  2. Experience with project management tools and methodology, Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  3. CAPM/PMP, Prince 2 or similar certification, experience with Agile Methodology or CSM certification, experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet or PlanView.
  4. Demonstrated understanding of project financials and measure of performance, 5+ years working on technology-related program/projects.
