Overview


As a Cook I at Marriott International, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of dishes in a fast-paced kitchen environment.


Key Responsibilities



  • Prepare and cook meals according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines.
  • Ensure proper portion sizes, arrangement, and garnish of food items.
  • Maintain accurate food logs and monitor the quality and quantity of prepared food.
  • Communicate with team members to ensure seamless service during busy periods.
  • Collaborate with the chef to create daily specials and inform food and beverage service staff of menu changes.

Requirements



  • At least 3 years of related work experience.
  • Technical, trade, or vocational school degree.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Familiarity with food safety and sanitation procedures.
