**Job Description:**

The Senior Accountant will oversee property-level accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, reconciliations, audit support, and guide financial strategy, while playing a hands-on role in company growth through process optimization and high performance.

This role requires a strong understanding of property management accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with operations and management teams.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  1. Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses for properties.
  2. Assist with external audits and coordinate with auditors as needed.
  3. Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies.
  4. Support property managers with accurate records, and analysis of property budgets/financials while ensuring smooth property operations.

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (Preference given to candidates who hold their CPA designation or on track to complete it)
  • 5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years of this experience in the property management or real estate industry
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
