Our finance organization is undergoing a transformation, building an outstanding team that provides centralized services to core business processes. As a VAT Accountant, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with VAT regulations and US GAAP requirements.
Job Description
- Ensure timely and accurate filings of VAT returns and related reporting.
- Support VAT-related internal and external audits, and work with the regional tax team on preparing audit defense strategies.
- Respond to ad-hoc VAT-related questions from local authorities and other departments.
- Monitor indirect tax legislation and its impact on the organization and processes for entities in scope.
- Leverage relationships with internal teams and external providers to support VAT process compliance and process improvements.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a multinational environment or audit.
- Experience in indirect taxes and understanding of US GAAP.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, encouraging, flexible, and 'can do' mindset.
- Proficient in both written and spoken English and Spanish.
Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for career growth and development.
