Job Description
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team in Heredia, Costa Rica. As a QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in planning, designing, developing, and executing test processes, test plans, and test scripts. You will design and implement automated and manual test suites for our products in an Agile environment.
Responsibilities
- Plan, design, develop, and execute test processes, test plans, and test scripts
- Design and implement automated and manual test suites for our products in an Agile environment
- Establish and maintain bidirectional requirements traceability to test cases
- Drive current test automation frameworks and QA processes
- Develop and execute manual/automated test scripts for new and existing products
- Participate in standups, sprint planning, refinement meetings, retrospections, and QA team-related meetings
- Define QA standards, strategies, and processes, observing industry best practices
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in Web Application automation testing
- Proficient in at least 1 Object Oriented programming language (Java and/or Ruby preferred)
- Experienced in BDD tools like Cucumber preferred
