Netskope is a leading cloud security company that provides innovative solutions to protect data in the cloud. We are seeking a skilled Cloud Security Architect to join our team in Platform R&D.

The successful candidate will design, develop, and maintain new or improved solutions for Netskope's production services. This will involve participating in strategic and tactical infrastructure initiatives by designing, building, and managing complex computing systems based primarily on microservice architectures.

In this role, you will provide technical contributions to the team by sharing best practices and technology trends, and acting as a technical mentor related to your area(s) of expertise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Foster collaboration and teamwork within the organization, promoting clear, open, and honest communication.
  • Support the development of implementations, service definitions, component interfaces, and experimental prototypes for systems within a product or service family.
  • Design, develop, test, document, and implement strategies, automation, and solutions for Netskope's production services.
  • Understand and communicate nonfunctional requirements for the system, including security, reliability, scalability, maintainability, etc.
  • Become a subject matter expert on designated Netskope products, services, and their dependent infrastructure to support and improve the reliability, function, and scalability of these solutions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a combination of comparable education and experience typically obtained by 3 or more years of related work experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in designing, building, and managing complex computing systems, including 1-2 years of experience as a Software Engineer.
  • Understanding of ELK environment builds cluster setup, performance tuning, and monitoring, and deploying ELK solution on-premise and cloud.
  • Comprehensive understanding of computer internal architecture and design, including working knowledge of specific details and design of some variants of the *NIX based operating systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop production-grade distributed and scalable services in collaboration with stakeholders in a distributed workforce environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly when interfacing with peers in engineering and QA.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 per year, plus benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and generous paid time off.
