We're looking for a **Lead Full Stack Developer** to join the engineering team at Modus.
**About You**:
**Experience Level: Senior/Lead**

**(In reference to requisition 1768)**

You are a software engineering leader who loves building great software.
Your work could be supporting new feature development, migrating existing features, or creating APIs.
You'll lead our clients' web app projects using your years of experience in Vue, Python, and AWS.
You may also contribute your Laravel, OpenID, and unit testing expertise.
You strongly understand AWS serverless products and API-led development in Agile product teams.
Our client's tech stack includes VueJS on the front end and Python (with some PHP/Laravel) on the back end, deployed on an AWS serverless environment.
We use modern tools, which means you'll have the opportunity to work with technologies like Webpack, Redux, Apollo, Styled Components, AWS, other cloud platforms, and much more.
You bring strong experience in backend development in Python, which is used in various AWS tools such as Lambda and ECS.
You have an understanding of the Laravel or Drupal frameworks and PHP as well.
On the server side, you should be able to create algorithms and business logic to manipulate data that is received from the client side.
You understand Agile software development and DevOps practices and can work closely with QA teams to optimize your code.
You relish creating high-quality code from the comfort of your own home.
Your engineering projects will focus on understanding customers' needs and translating those needs from product specifications into functional, production-ready code.
You'll have the opportunity to ship code daily that customers will use.
You love learning.
Engineering is an ever-evolving world.
You enjoy playing with new tech and exploring areas you might still need to gain experience with.
You are a self-driven, self-learner willing to share knowledge and participate actively in your community.
Having overlap with your team is critical when working in a global remote team.
Modus requires all team members to overlap with EST morning hours daily.
In addition, reliable high-speed internet is a must.
