RESPONSABILITIES

Proposal Quality Management Supervisor functions:

- Obtain, analyze, and coordinates corrective action, on significant deviations from quality standards.
- Manage and coordinate personnel to maintain and improve offer quality, offer standardization, and EET
- Proactively monitor offers, receive customer and sales feedback, and address feedback to ensure high proposal quality
- Strives for continuous improvement in overall department
- Frequently communicate with the proposal managers, regional systems sales managers, and account executives to develop knowledge of their needs and to receive quality feedback
- Correct identified quality issues by working within North America Proposals and other departments in the organization that impact offer quality.
- Drive standardization of procedures and offer documents to improve accuracy, consistency, and thoroughness throughout the proposal process.
- Actively participate in project lessons learned meetings and review variability of as-sold project costing to identify and correct gaps in the proposal process.
- Participate in new product and service planning activities.
Incorporate new and changed products and services.
Into the proposal process.
Communicate these changes, department best practices, and process updates to the department.
- Annually review applicable ISO9001 quality procedures to ensure that they are consistent with the proposal process.
Modify as necessary to maintain ISO9001 compliance.
- Publish regular metrics for the department measuring North America Proposal offer activity and customer satisfaction.
- Expand and maintain EET for all PWS world areas.
- Increase utilization of EET to drive cost accuracy of offers.
- Supervise the incorporation of new and changed products and the removal of obsolete items; overseed the updates EET to add additional functionality and reporting in support of the proposal process.
- Supervise Offer Center personnel and tasks.
Support/Supervise Offer Owners in creation of proposals, including pdf creation, project team résumés, experience lists, data sheets, signatures/notarization, and hard copy/binder printing coordination.
Maintain customer reference and employee résumé databases.
Administer and maintain third party vendor qualification sites.
Work with Finance, Safety, Human Resources, Contracts, Legal, and Quality to complete requests.
- Establish and align group and individual objectives and ensure that are aligned with PWS objectives.
- Participate in resource development, provide leadership in areas of expertise and proactively help to develop future leaders.
- Develop work practices for the assigned team and coordinate with other engineering discipline Team Leaders.
- Attend appropriate management-level meetings.
- Interface and work effectively with projects, field service, engineering, manufacturing, commercial integration, and finance.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
**REQUIREMENTS**
- The position requires a BS degree in an engineering discipline such Electronics, Electrical, Electromechanical, Mechatronics, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent plus eight-year experience or a Master's in Business with focus in engineering, quality, or marketing.
- This position requires experience in quality and/or engineering with emphasis in quality control, control systems and/or proposal development.
