Job function summary

Direct technical support functions to maintain and continuously improve equipment, process, and facilities.
**Major areas of accountability**:

- Professional supervision of the equipment and machinery in the production area.
- Planning of maintenance of production machines, supporting continuous production.
- Ensure the execution of scheduled maintenance activities.
- Organization of electrical trainings for other employees where required.
- Exploring and solving technical problems together with suppliers, technical staff, and operators.
- Analyzing and improvement of technical processes, production machines and equipment.
- Ensure to meet the required levels of Safety, Quality, Output and Cost.
- Installation, assembly & commissioning of production equipment and lines.
- Support technicians in discovering failures, quick and professional troubleshooting.
- Responsible for performing their job in compliance with the guidelines given.
- Responsible for drawing attention to the manager to any difficulties in understanding or following the guidelines.
- Responsible for drawing attention to inefficiency of the system.
**Additional Areas of Accountability**:

- Complete NCs and CAPA investigations and action plans as required

**Essential qualifications**:

- Bachelor's Degree in related Engineering field (e.g.
Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics).
- 3-5 years of experience in engineering roles with responsibility in manufacturing processes.
- Experience or knowledge of industrial processes with automation.
- Experience with Continuous Improvement Initiatives.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
**Preferred qualifications**:

- General knowledge of mechanical systems.
- Understanding mechanical drawings.
- Understanding of continuous improvement methodologies such Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma.
- Desirable experience working in FDA regulated environment.
**Required knowledge, skills & abilities**:

- Knowledge of industrial machines with automation (PLC).
- Knowledge of PLC programing, failure analysis, modification, and improvement of existing programs.
Better with experience on Allen Bradley (RS Logix 5000) or Omron (CX1).
- HMI knowledge (Panel View, Versa View), Programming with Factory Talk View
- Knowledge of Servo drives: Omron Sigma 2 (Device net communication), Rockwell Kinetics 6000
- Understanding electrical circuit drawings
- Administrator knowledge of Windows operating systems (Win XP and above) and network
- PC hardware knowledge (Maintain, upgrade, assembly)
- SQL database (Restore / Backup), handling and administration
- VMWare Workstation (Virtual machine management) knowledge
- Cognex Vision system experience (Setup, programing, failure analysis, modification and improvement of existing industrial vision camera systems)
- Problem solving skills.
- Good English knowledge.
