Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/medtech We are searching for the best talent for EHS SUPERVISOR to be in Grecia, Costa Rica Purpose: In this role, you'll be a leader in safeguarding our people and environment.
As an EHS Supervisor, you'll develop and implement critical EHS programs that keep our employees safe and minimize our environmental impact.
You'll have a direct impact on building a balanced and responsible future for our company.

You'll address meaningful projects, work collaboratively across departments, and be a key player in shaping a culture of safety, health and environmental awareness.
You'll also have the chance to learn and grow your expertise in a fast-paced environment.
You will be responsible for: * Ensuring the workplace adheres to all applicable laws and J&J standards * Leading all aspects of permitting processes * Conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation plans * Investigating accidents and incidents to prevent future occurrences * Developing and maintaining safety programs and procedures for design, construction, commissioning and operational readiness stages.
* Providing EHS training and orientation for employees and contractors * Encouraging a safe work culture through communication and awareness programs * Leading the development and implementation of EHS programs across departments within the business unit * Overseeing emergency response planning and preparedness * Monitoring and tracking EHS performance metrics * Collaborating with other departments to integrate EHS considerations Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree or higher in EHS Engineering from and accredited university * 6+ years of experience of Environmental, Health and Safety * 4+ years of manufacturing and/or plant experience * Strong communication & interpersonal skills * ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 implementation/sustaining experience * Solid understanding in OSHA, ANSI and NFPA standards * Experience in industrial hygiene and chemical management * Strong written and spoken English is required Preferred: * Experience in start-up projects
