**About the role**:
Responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing manufacturing and business process improvements that increase capacity, reduce lead-time, reduce the work-in-process, improve fill-rates, and improve process flow and efficiency.
These actions will occur across multiple facets of Boston Scientific's organization including: manufacturing, design, supplier development, documentation, and Boston Scientific suppliers.
Projects will incorporate lean manufacturing, theory of constraints, quick response manufacturing, Just-In-Time, Methods-Time Measurement, or a variety of other systems improvement philosophies.
The employee will be required to create strong relationships with team members internal and external to Boston Scientific to ensure project success.
**Your Responsibilities Include**:
- Analyzes, creates and implements manufacturing and/or business process improvements that increase capacity, reduce lead-time, eliminate non-valued added, reduce work in process and improve fill rates.
- Completes capacity analysis internally and/or at suppliers for headcount, equipment and space requirements using simulation software or other effective tools.
- Designs, implements and maintains effective metrics with internal customers or suppliers to ensure unbridled supply is achieved.
- Participates as a core member in cross-functional teams to quickly troubleshoot and eliminate product supply issues internally or at suppliers.
- Makes recommendations to design teams, which drive higher yielding, lower cost, more manufacturable products.
May use financial analyses tool and recommend alternative courses of action
- Convinces internal customer or suppliers to make fundamental changes to their manufacturing and/or business processes so that unbridled supply can be achieved.
- Supports safety & ergonomic projects
- Leads Kaizen Events with large groups of people with the objective to increase line productivity & efficiency.
- Develops improvement projects in the production lines to maximize footprint and release clean room space using CAD software.
**What we're looking for**:
- Bachelor or Licenciature degree in Industrial Engineer or Related Field.
- English Level desired: 80-89%.
- Experience: At least 3 years
- Ability to travel
