We're looking for a **QA Automation Engineer (Performance Testing)** to join the engineering team at Modus.
**About You**
**Experience Level: Senior**
**(In reference to requisition 1531)**
You have 3+ years of performance testing experience building frameworks from scratch and writing performance tests with JMeter or Blazemeter
You are proficient with Javascript, and setting up automation frameworks and writing tests with Playwright and/or Selenium Webdriver and Appium.
You are able to identify gaps and provide solutions in automation processes, implementations, and best practices.
You have experience with automated compatibility testing using tools like BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.
You have a security-first mindset, a strong testing mindset, and the ability to become an SME by putting yourself in the shoes of the end user.
You have hands on experience with Configuration Management (e.g.
GitHub), Bug Tracking (e.g., Jira), Test Management (e.g., TestRail, Allure, ALM), Collaboration (e.g., Confluence, Slack, Sharepoint).
You have strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as an analytical way of thinking.
Effective collaboration with the engineering team is essential.
- You love learning and understand that software is an ever-evolving world.
You enjoy playing with new tech and exploring areas that you might not have experience with yet.
You are self-driven, self-learner willing to share knowledge and participate actively in your community.
Having overlap with your team is critical when working in a global remote team.
Modus requires all team members to overlap with EST hours daily.
In addition, reliable high speed internet is a must.
