**About the position**:
We are currently seeking a dynamic individual for the role of DATA ANALYST to join our team:
**Zone**: San José, Costa Rica.
**Work Schedule**: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
**Contract Type**: Open-ended / Indefinite-term
Overall Role
The Data Scientist primary goal is to gather, normalize and structure data; use data science, algorithms and predictive/preemptive analytics to propose and provide quantitative support to decision-making process.
Ideally, proposals should focus on accelerate cost avoidance, increase hard savings and enhance occupant experiences.
The key responsibilities are to ensure compliance with approved SOPs for each service provided.
If IFM member identifies discrepancies between SOP implementation and coherent applicability, must escalate to update or implement local variances in SOP.
**Responsibilities**:
Gather, store, normalize and process data from all providers' reporting, including inventory, storage and warehousing, logistics, mailroom, drinks and vending machines, mínimarket, janitorial, security, hosting, etc., to produce useful information for decision-making processes.
Identify insights from data to enhance customer experience.
Provide operational service reporting on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
Work with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.
Ensures compliance with SOPs for all Customer Experience contracted services, identifies and includes all variations applicable per site.
Mine and analyze data from company, providers and third party databases to drive optimization and improvement of product development, marketing techniques and business strategies.
Use predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, ad targeting and other business outcomes.
Develop company A/B testing framework and test model quality.
Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques.
Validates all provider invoices related to soft services submitted for payment are appropriate and consistent with the client expenditure authorization limits and compliance guidelines.
Continuously identifies ways in which service can be improved and value for money can be enhanced.
Communicates innovations and cost savings ideas to RE&F.
Works in coordination with Ops Supervisor and CX&C team to plan and execute activities related to environmental sustainability.
**Requirements**:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences, System Engineering, Mathematics & Statistics or related.
Two years of experience manipulating big data sets and building statistical models: Design, creation, maintain and query databases.
Experience in creating data gathering automation tools, using statistical computer languages.
Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics is desirable.
Ability to speak Fluid English.
