**About the Role**:
As our Merchant Operations & Strategy Analyst for Uber Eats, you will play a key role for the business by improving our customers' experience through initiatives focused on Merchants.
You will be responsible for performing several analysis and projects that impact our main Experience OKRs such as RoR, rC/R, E2E, and Restaurant Defects (non-exhaustive).
Also, you will act as our analytical expert regarding merchants' performance and behavior in Central America, allowing us to better understand our metrics and to discover or implement potential solutions to improve them
This role is going to be a part of our Central America Operations team, but also will be working closely with the Merchant Operations team as well to be able to share and embrace best practices in LatAm.
**What You'll Do**:

- ** Analyze Data** - This is a highly analytical role that requires knowledge and skill regarding data analytics.
You will ensure you are crafting, collecting, and incorporating as much data about operations as possible to monitor and understand our Merchants' performance, and find opportunities to improve.
You, with help from colleagues, will build the analytical frameworks and operational models to enable constant improvement
- ** Build and Optimize Processes** - With the opportunities discovered, you will unlock their potential by implementing existing projects and processes in order to improve our customers' experience and our restaurants' performance, optimizing them where possible to maximize their impact, and launching new projects and processes as needed to succeed in capturing those opportunities
- ** Grow the business** - As a key member of the Operations team, you will be constantly seeking solutions for Central America.
Your processes and projects will directly contribute to the business' growth

**What You'll Need**:

- English and Spanish professional proficiency
- Strong SQL and Excel skills; other database experience will be considered as a plus
- Critical thinking and analytical rigour, as you will be dealing with data (reports, experiments) and scaling processes
- 2+ years of experience working with SQL
- Strong Problem Solving and Communication skills
- Experience with data-based decision-making.
Exercising good judgement in ambiguous circumstances, and efficiently communicating across a diverse team
- Previous experiences that prove your sense of ownership, a getting-things-done approach, and the ability to go from high-level business strategy to tactical execution several times during a regular week
