Job summary
Amazon Ads is seeking a talented and customer-focused Visual Design Manager to join the creative service team located in San Jose, Costa Rica.
This design team supports Design Campaigns for advertisers like: Starz, Showtime, Paramount+, Discovery+, Disney+, Hallmark, HBO, Tubi, among others.

As a Visual Design Manager at Amazon Ads, you will lead a team of designers, mentor them and help them grow at a professional level, while helping to solve for Advertiser and customer needs.
Key job responsibilities
- Lead by example and be responsible to build, coach and mentor high-class design teams for developing the best consumer experiences in a fast-paced, agile, dynamic, multinational environment; while adhering to all performance metrics of the organization.
- Contribute to global initiatives/projects, as well as work alongside stakeholders from other locales.
Have a data-driven approach, as well as Dive Deep skills to define root causes and propose solutions.
- Participate in discussions to identify customer needs, and drive process improvement to close operational gaps.
- Experience supporting creatives for international markets.
- 5+ years of working experience as a designer or similar role within the creative field.
- Knowledge of web architecture, usability, UX and UI Design.
- Mastery of the principals of design, color theory, typography and graphics file creation optimized for digital media.
- Strong computer skills using Mac publishing platforms, Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat) and other graphic programs.
