**Introduction**
As an IBM Application Architect, you directly help clients transform their business and solve complex problems.
You will define the scope and vision for projects that deliver customized solutions using your knowledge of IBM platforms.
You are a technical leader, serving as a liaison among business partners, technical resources, and project stakeholders.
**Your Role and Responsibilities**
- Provide expertise for cyber security technical and non-technical solutions; review and provide guidance enabling business system in the cloud while leveraging Platform as a Service (PaaS), Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS) in a manner that adheres to Santander information security policy and standards.
- Designing, developing, operating and managing comprehensive security architectures, solutions to assess, prioritize, and mitigate business risk with technology controls.
- Specific focus includes mitigating cyber security threats, ensuring systems availability, aligning with global regulatory risk and compliance requirements.
**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
- Familiarity with waterfall and more importantly agile development methodologies.
- Ability to concisely communicate with SME, and mid-level management (director level) occasionally.
- Assess architectural patterns for service account authentication, Privileged Access Management, DevSecOps pipeline, security logging and monitoring, audit logging, and compliance guidance and monitoring.
- Familiarity with ISO 27001 / NIST standards or equivalent

- Application/Software, Data - 40%

**Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise**
- Familiarity with network security principles (Network Security Groups, Application Security Groups), Private Link Services, Service Endpoint, Service Tags, etc.
