- Finance Systems and Solutions**
Project Manager-Finance Systems and Solutions (HYBRID/COSTA RICA)
**SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED**:

- Think strategically and execute tactically, ensure tight coordination between people, process and system capabilities with outcomes that ensure that the globally distributed teams can thrive in an action oriented and agile operating model.
- Within 30 days of employment, become competent with our customize agile engagement model and standard operations.
- You will work closely with Product Managers, engineers, Products and Business stakeholders to provide day-to-day operations support for the Digital Transformation Products Portfolio.
- Within 90 days of employment, you would have demonstrated examples of successfully managing product delivery.
- Within 180 days you will be able to influence leaders across different business and functional teams and make a group of experts work well together, take all inputs, and facilitate efficient decision-making.
- PMP/CAPM or any PMI certifications (desirable)
- At least 3 years of experience managing projects in IT related industries.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Your regular activities may be modified to suit your professional strengths, but you can expect a variety of the following assignments:

- Partner with global Product Managers, Engineering, Product and Business Stakeholders to orchestrate the delivery of key outcomes (strategic and execution focused).
- Create and enhance process and framework for Product Portfolio Management to drive VMware Digital Transformation priorities.
- Enable Product Managers on Framework and Process and drive adoption.
- Build and manage program reporting, plans, JIRA elements, measure and track product(s) and domain(s) roadmap from concept to delivery.
- Drive collaboration with your team by facilitating workshops and activities, aligning team members on product execution strategy, bringing clarity where there is ambiguity, and keeping everyone aligned
- Grow and support our talented Product Management team and take pride in building high-quality high-impact processes to support our products, embody VMware's EPIC2 values, and have fun together.
- Identify critical assumptions, define and inform risks, measure success metrics, and use data to inform decisions
- Influence and drive continuous improvement of product/solution development lifecycle process, practices, and initiatives.
- Use process innovation to highlight and manage interdependencies within the portfolio.
- Coach, motivate team members to drive positive action and accountability and removing issues and conflicts that may arise.
- Establish partnership/advisory relationship with key cross team stakeholders
- Work with our product team to define and drive product strategy, identifying key outcomes and success metrics
