Senior Splunk/Dynatrace Engineer

Experian is seeking a senior Splunk administrator to provide global, enterprise-level support for our logging and observability tools.

**Job Description**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Administrate our logging, observability and event management services employing best practices, governance and standards
- Collaborate with operational, technical and non-technical business teams globally
- Equate business challenges and requirements to technical deliveries.
Agree timelines and execute at pace
- Develop automation that enables self-service and executes at a global scale
- Development and testing of internal web and API services systems that enable rapid business, finance, and infrastructure insight across all of our services, following programming best practice with user-centric design thinking
- Generate documentation content and participate in cross-functional business and technical teams to strengthen and evangelize our monitoring and analytics services
- Suggest, design, and implement improvements to currently deployed solutions
- Support global operations and business support/development teams to improve delivery through automation and innovation
- Reproduce customer issues and as necessary, file support cases with the supplier as well as internal technical teams.
- Take ownership by driving meaningful change and delivering results from passion and purpose

**Qualifications**:

- 3+ years previous experience administrating Splunk
- Splunk Admin or Consultant certification is highly desired
- Programming skills in at least one of the following: Python, Perl, Shell scripting (Linux), or JavaScript.
Must be proficient at the Linux command line.
- Experience consuming APIs in PHP and Python is desired.
- Familiar with AWS and AWS services.
- Familiar with the following tools**:Ansible, Dynatrace, ThousandEyes **and **ServiceNow **or other automation, orchestration, insight and intelligence tools
- Strong troubleshooting skills and analytical mindset
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent listening skills and a strong work ethic coupled with a curiosity for new trends and emerging technologies
- Must be a self-starter, highly motivated, detail oriented, and have the ability to work collaboratively with others
