- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools such as Excel and Powerpoint; proficiency with Quip
- Ability to provide and receive feedback effectively
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work on a flexible schedule which might be changed on short notice

Job summary
The ERC Trainer role is an advocate for learning and development of the Employee Resource Center (ERC) associates.
The role will be facilitating new hire training classes to support the hiring of the organization.
ERC Trainers play a pivotal role, as they are responsible for introducing new hires to Amazon's culture, and work hand in hand with Training Specialists, ERC Associates, and Managers in driving growth in the ERC.
This role is responsible for performance and capability development of ERC Associates.
Task Responsibilities
- Facilitate learning in the classroom by organizing and presenting material in a way that is optimal for the learning experience.
- Effectively manages classroom environments to maximize learning
- Maintains a high level of professionalism and approachability
- Has strong preparation, organization, time management, public speaking and classroom management skills
- Bridge any gaps between understanding and execution
- Perform administrative tasks to facilitate the learning environment and components on the agenda.
- This list will include, creating Trouble Tickets (TT) for New Hire Amazon access.
- Creation of Daily Training Report (DTR).
- Organize and plan stakeholder's guest speaker attendance in training
- Work closely with the Training partners, Training manager, Training specialists, partner teams and stakeholders in the preparation and coordination of training events.
- Compile course evaluations and produce summary reports of participant feedback.
- Coordinate the new hires' nesting week by providing support, leading daily huddles and suggesting training refreshers based on feedback obtained from the mentors and the huddles
- Work along with the Training partner designated for the class to help with training, equipment and basic logistics for the training period and post training activities/logistics.
- Provide real time action and support in following areas:
- Demonstrate discretion handling sensitive information.
- Address behavioral issues with trainees.
- Detect and resolve system issues among the trainees.
- Identify and share training best practices.
- Creates and maintains a high quality learning environment
- Stays up to date on changes to business processes and policies
- Reports any errors in the training content for correction to the Training Specialists
