Job description
Full stack Java/React Developer to join an Electronic Trading Control (ETC) Team.
This developer will participate in the design and development of services that will allow our client to become an Autonomous SaaS Enterprise.
The services will have to run on-premises and in the Cloud.
Current focus is to develop an Alerting Engine, Operations Automation Framework, and Business Transaction Monitoring System.
Development will require integration with several internal and external systems.
**Responsibilities**:
- Development of enterprise services that will run on-premise and in-the-Cloud
- Evaluation and selection of third-party components for ETC systems
- Participation in design and code review
- Development of automated unit and integration tests
- Documenting the use cases, architecture, design and enhancements
- Contribution to the improvements of the SDLC process
**Skills Required**:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics
- Strong core Java knowledge and experience (6+ years)
- 6+ years' experience developing high-volume, low-latency software
- Strong UI design and development (JavaScript/TypeScript/React)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Database experience including knowledge of SQL, no-SQL, and Time Series DBs like Oracle, MongoDB, and Prometheus
**Desire or Nice to have Skills**:
- Understanding of capital markets
- Exposure to exchange trading protocols
- Experience in performance testing
- Experience with Gradle, Git, Jenkins and Ansible
