**You are responsible for**
- Advises (per request and proactively) on all manufacturing processes from a financial perspective
- Leads the cost accounting team and is a finance business partner to all operations managers of the factory
- Creates insights into the relationship between operations and costs and advises the factory management and project teams on product costing
- Is in charge of looking into and decreasing labor and overhead costs
- Is involved in the creation and implementation of financial project plans (business cases), cost calculations and runtime and yield analysis
- Is key member of the Finance department regarding topics like cost prices, cost/savings, capex and capital planning and support of operational result analysis
- Initiates, participates in or leads improvement teams, always searching for new developments and alternatives, which can have a great impact on the total business
- Performs (competitive) product cost comparison (vs suppliers or other Philips sites) and conducts independent products cost estimates and generates improvements ideas
- Focuses on master data management, uses SAP to maintain material master data based on interface with procurement and manufacturing engineering
- Verifies all components in active BOM are properly costed
- Reviews quotations of suppliers and provides feedback

- Bachelor degree in Manufacturing / Industrial Engineer, Finance or related field preferred
- At least 5 years of experience as a cost accountant or cost engineering
- Advanced knowledge in SAP
- Advanced English Level
