The Global Sourcing Contract Remediation Team Leader (C13) is a mid-senior level position within Citi Global Sourcing, reporting directly to the Contract Remediation and Assurance Senior Vice President, and functioning as a team leader for the Contract Remediation team, providing day to day management support to the team globally.
This position will also have project and program management responsibilities, coordinating with different parties globally for the completion of Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) milestones, documenting task progression and keeping an inventory of projects that can be easily communicated to senior management.
Under the direction of the Contract Remediation and Assurance leader, this position will also assist in maintaining sourcing legal engagement and contract disposition process, tools, documentation, training, leads second and third line (audit) reviews and related Issues and Corrective Action Plans.
**Responsibilities**:
Program and Project Management:

- Project management activities, including tracking of important project milestones, coordination with different parties for the completion of important tasks, risk management, etc.
- Program governance for senior stakeholders, including creation and upkeeping of dashboards and decks for communication of project status.
Team Leadership:

- Day to day management activities including operations management, setting up one-one sessions with team members, provide coaching, disciplinary actions, etc.
- Ensure that contract disposition team members are trained satisfactorily in procedures.
Create guidance and training for sourcing managers, business user, Contract Review checklist SMEs.
- Monitor the work of the contract disposition team to ensure that all work is done in a controlled manner, mitigating risks and taking corrective actions promptly.
- Develop staff so that team members are a potential pipeline for more senior roles and other sourcing positions.
Subject Matter Expertise:

- Help in overseeing Contract Review Checklist and contract disposition data quality program (control, reporting and training).
- Leadership for Audits and auditor questions and evidence provision, management of Issues & Corrective Action Plans (CAPs).
- Resolve issues encountered in contract disposition by working with the appropriate sector sourcing team, escalate non-compliant actions by colleagues.
- Assist in running an efficient and effective contract Quality Control process to help guarantee that contracts disposition is compliant.
- Utilize tools including GEP and DocuSign Insight and work with legal and third parties to implement the most effective and cost-efficient contract review and contract disposition solutions available in the market
- Identify, syndicate and implement productivity improvements to contract processing
- Collaborate with RMO Risk & Control and Citi Second line partners to establish and manage processes focused on meeting regulatory and policy requirements, strengthening controls and compliance.
- Ensure the RMO's procedures are adhered to when dispositioning contracts (dispositioning being to sign a contract amendment with the supplier to bring the contract to Citi standard or to obtain the required Subject Matter Expert (SME) guidance and business approvals)

**Skills & Experience**:

- Strong understanding of key commercial and legal contract terms and conditions.
- Strong Relationship management (domestic & international marketplace), contractual management, negotiations, supplier management, working closely with legal and compliance teams and governance
- Excellent oral and verbal communications skills
- Ability to engage and persuade managers and executives so as to close the gap between client expectations and provider capabilities
- Strong process and compliance management
- Top-notch ability to manage an operational process, utilizing metrics to identify/implement improvement opportunities and identify/address process or control weaknesses
- Experience in Contracting Operations roles, with focus of data, quality & prior experience with process improvement & change management

**Qualifications**:

- 5+ years sourcing / risk and/or contracting experience
- 3+ years of project management experience
- Advanced English level
- experience in people management
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to interact with and influence senior sourcing and business clients, as well as senior supplier representatives
- Experience working in or managing an operations team would be helpful
- Proven ability to manage and develop a team

**Education**:

- Bachelor's degree/University degree finished
- Master's degree preferred
