**Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?

- Within 30 days of employment, complete all the onboarding formalities and learnings, understand various pillars of the WWBO team, their functionalities, their vision, and get trained on standard operational activities
- Within 60 days of employment, you will get trained on complex order processes get certified in standard Order management processes
- Within 90 days of employment, you will be fully trained & certified on all complex order processes
- Within 180 days of employment, you will start Interacting with cross-functional business, operations, and IT teams to support the order-to-cash process and related initiatives
- Within 360 days of employment, you will become an SME (Subject Matter Expert) for various lines of business and core focus areas and front-end initiatives that will maximize business agility, participate in projects and initiatives related to quality, data migration, SKU testing, and operational efficiency
**The Work: What type of work will you be doing?
What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?
**
- Handle complex order processing tasks, ensuring accuracy and alignment to all compliance guidelines including SOX and export regulations
- SME (Subject Matter Expert) for various lines of business and core focus areas and act as Operations backup for the Lead where needed
- Challenge the status quo and identify transformational ideas and suggestions that improve operational efficiencies, partner experience, and simplicity of operations
- Interact with cross-functional business, operations, and IT teams to support the order-to-cash process and related initiatives
- Participate in projects and initiatives related to quality, data migration, SKU testing, and operational efficiency
- Regularly connect with the operations team and managers to understand new automation requests, prioritize the requests based on set criteria and be the advocate for the operations till automation completion
- Involved in change management activity and will be responsible to prepare and deliver presentations online/in-person
- Work with Global teams spanning different time zones
- Deliver on ad-hoc assignments including reporting and analytics per business requirements

This role will report to the Supervisor - Order Management based in Atlanta, GA.
The Complex Order Management team is an integral part of Worldwide Business Operations (WWBO) and is made up of 20+ senior Individual contributors across 3 sites (India, US, and Costa Rica) along with 3 people managers responsible for managing complex orders processing, project participation, drive large scale strategic programs on the scale, operational efficiency, input and output quality, and new system implementation
The team works on a forward together approach with a transformational mindset and liaises with the senior leadership team and people leaders within the organization to deliver frictionless purchasing and consumption experiences for our customers, partners, and colleagues.
**Where is this role located?
**
Flexible: The role is considered flexible and will be a mix of working from a local VMware office in Costa Rica and remote depending on your preferences and the arrangements determined with your future manager.
You will be expected to live within a reasonable non-daily commute of the office.
