**Job Description**:
3M is seeking an Accountant Analyst, it will play a key role providing accounting services, such financial information, analysis and guidance to different customers among the organization ensuring financial data integrity and accuracy.
Follows a selected number of clearly defined procedures under general guidance.
Handles inquiries of moderate scope and complexity.
Prepares preliminary economic research, forecasting and analysis of financial information while working under general supervision.
Responsible for specific elements in the preparation of financial statements.
Analyst responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

- Prepare and analyze financial information
- Preparing and processing a variety of Journal Entries
- Preparing reconciliations and follow up of open items
- Align to established KPI's, SLA's and operational metrics.
- Variances explanation to cross functional accounting teams
- Handle and develop solutions for different inquiries coming from customers.
- Identification of efficiencies that will lead to savings in financial resources and time.
- Participate in project teams
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Ability to deal with customers and determine solutions

Basic Qualifications:

- Education in finance or accounting areas.
- 2 - 3 years of relevant experience
- Intermediate english, written and spoken.
- Proactive
- Work Under Pressure
- Team Player
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Attention to detail skills
- Customer Focus and quality-oriented mindset
- Good communication skills
- Adaptable to different circumstances and dealing with ambiguity skills.
Preferred Qualifications:

- SAP working knowledge
- PeopleSoft working knowledge
