**ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY**
Wind River Systems is seeking an experienced high-performing Tech Lead DevSecOps Engineer for a position developing a cloud-based platform that spans multiple products.
As a Tech Lead DevSecOps Engineer, you will be part of a team developing and supporting the tools and infrastructure used by all engineering teams.
This position requires proven knowledge in cloud infrastructure, CI/CD processes and good English oral and written communication skills.
This role will consist of:
- Work and improve software and infrastructure delivery processes.
- Work with large scale microservice architecture using message brokers, service mesh and data pipelines.
In a company with significant growth and the leader in embedded platforms, you will be part of a team developing high value features for external customers and internal engineering teams.
You will work with a variety of tools, cloud providers, and products to ensure delivery of high-quality products.
**ABOUT YOU**
**Responsibilities**:
- Enable tools, scripts, and infrastructure to accomplish CI/CD using Jenkins.
- Design and development of multiple infrastructure as code projects.
- Audit, patch, enhance and secure open-source components.
- Deliver features and updates to the infrastructure.
- Managing and maintaining integrations.
- Collaborating effectively across remote teams and collaborating with other Tech Leads
- Coach engineers to develop best practices in software development.
**Required**:
- Strong experience with Jenkins and Jenkins pipelines
- Strong experience with Docker containers
- Strong experience with Kubernetes
- Strong experience with microservices architecture
- Strong experience with Git workflows
- Experience with scripting (bash and groovy preferred)
- Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform preferred)
- Experience with Helm Charts scripts
- Experience with cloud services providers (AWS preferred)
- 5-8+ years working in cloud infrastructure.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- BSEE/BSCS or equivalent experience
**Preferred**:
- Experience with streams processing and message brokers like Kafka.
- Experience with Cloudify Blueprints
- Experience with artifacts repositories (Harbor preferred)
- Experience with RESTful APIs and OpenAPI
- Experience with Jira, Agile and Scrum.
