The XIS and delivers discrete and integrated graphics IPs to the client and datacenter markets.
In this position, as a Senior Graphics Hardware Design Engineer, you will be part a world class IP physical design team developing groundbreaking high-performance GPU IPs that are targeted for high-end graphics, gaming, artificial intelligence, media processing and more.
This is a great opportunity to join a talented team that is innovating in ASIC implementation and verification of multimillion gate designs in advanced process nodes across multiple foundries.
Your responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:
- Implementing signoff capabilities and flows for Static Timing Analysis, Electrical Rule Checkers, Parasitic Extraction, Reliability Verification across internal and external foundry processes.
- Developing timing tools, understand design requirements/objectives and develop signoff conditions and milestone checklists appropriate with the design project goals
- Collaborating with 3rd party EDA vendors to resolve issues and drive feature improvements in signoff tools
**Qualifications**
**Minimum Requirements**
- Bachelor's degree student in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Computers Engineering or related engineering field
- Willing to maintain an active student status for at least 1 year
- 6+ months of academic experience in TCL, Perl and Python programming for robust flow automation
- Availability to work at least 24 hours per week
- Advanced English level
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Master's degree student on mentioned engineering areas
- Proficiency with one or more of the following Industry standard EDA tools: Redhawk, StarRC, Primetime
- 6+ months of academic experience on electrical and physical rules checkers for meeting design robustness
