We're looking for an inspired, motivated, and experienced _Senior Data Scientist Engineer_ to join our team.
The Sr. Data Scientist is an individual who is curious, intellectually driven, and has a passion for breaking down abstract problems into understandable and measurable parts.
Part anthropologist, part mathematician, part hacker, the Data Scientist will help our clients understand the segment of the population that buys their products as well as the segment that does not.
Data scientists don't have "typical" days - you will be responsible for complex deliverables and be expected to prioritize your team towards the most effective tasks without constant supervision.
These may range from writing scripts to automate data cleanup, tweaking predictive models, or contributing to a brainstorming session.
We believe that it is easier for good data science to happen in relatively flat organizations, and we try to give due protagonism to ideas; with that said, as Sr. Data Science you will bring your experience to bear as you collaborate with and guide more junior colleagues.
While we discuss ideas and approaches regardless of rank or seniority, the team will give you responsibility and the agency to make decisions in accordance with your experience.
**In this role you will**:

- Remove complexity from business problems, either in presentations or on the fly with clients
- Convey confidence when discussing different types of models and approaches with clients
- Consultative communication approach that educates less technical stakeholders without condescension
- Propose compelling, evidence-based theories that explain trends in metrics
- Work closely with the rest of the MKS and account teams to understand the business context of the account
- Stay up to date on latest industry news and analysis techniques
- Help design dashboards and automate reporting with scripts
- Assist in tagging and data infrastructure design
- Design A/B tests and other measurement frameworks
- Represent our discipline, data and insights to wider teams
**What are we looking for?
Besides a great attitude,**

**You should have**:

- Advanced English proficiency (B2 reading, writing, and conversational)
- 3+ years experience producing deliverables with either python or R
- Strong Statistical Skills and predictive modeling
- Experience in some or all of the following areas of marketing analysis: segmentation, digital analytics, measurement, business intelligence, and market research.
- 3+ years experience explaining complex topics to a non-technical audience
**It's a plus if you have**:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Experience in Marketing Analytics, ie Market Segmentation, Media Mix Modeling
- Intermediate knowledge with Tableau or/and Power BI
- Certification any web-based tool used by an account (e.g., Adobe Analytics)
- Most coursework towards a bachelor's degree
- Mastery of office productivity tools such as Excel, Word, MS Project, Visio, and PowerPoint
