**What is your mission in this role?
**

The Production Lead will be responsible for overseeing all manufacturing/production day to day activities involving labor and materials to meet production schedule goals.
**What you will be doing**:
The Production Lead will oversee all manufacturing/production day-to-day activities and assist the production manager in hiring, onboarding and training of the new employees.
They will be responsible for assuring manufacturing employees are following set quality management systems (QMS), work instructions and following company policies and procedures.
They clearly communicate daily with production manager for review of production schedule requirements and ítems or issues that need to be addressed for the day and ensure people and resources are applied in an efficient and effective manner to meet delivery requirements while achieving quality and safety standards

In addition, the Production Lead will ensure equipment is within calibration date and all systems are functioning correctly.
They will ensure all records are completed appropriately and that non-conforming material is clearly identified and segregated.
They will ensure that the escalation procedure for quality concerns is followed and ensure achievement of production throughput against stated capacity targets.
The Production Lead will also ensure the team is aware of day to day targets and responsibilities and maintain visible lead for adherence to procedures and instructions while monitoring change over and/or line set up efficiency.
In addition, they will prepare line set-ups for all shifts, including first article inspection.
