**About the role**:
**DHL Express Americas is providing an opportunity for a highly motivated professional within a multi
- cultural shared service environment.
This role is based in the Shared Service Center (SSC) San Jose, Costa Rica.
**:
**Primary purpose of role**

To ensure that specific credit collection goals are met through coaching, counseling, monitoring, and motivating a team of credit collectors and analysis while maintaining compliance with order-to-cash policies and defined collection strategies.
**Key Responsibilities**
- To maintain and execute collection strategies in line with set standards and policies
- To guarantee timely and effective execution of internal control framework
- To actively managed cross functional dependencies
- To guide, reviews and initiates capacity management for credit and collection activities; ensures compliance with the departmental policies and procedures
- To review daily progression to cash targets; adjusts and yields collection and credit activities accordingly to meet cash collection objectives
- To ensure delivery of daily and monthly collection and credit management reports
- To control bad debt provision and expenses
- To exercise good management judgment in the execution of job responsibilities
- Manage and develop a team of motivated staff members to maximize performance and ensure delivery of the agreed objectives.
- Efficient leadership, people management and guidance of staff, respecting cultural environment and history.
- To guarantee effective capacity management for query handling front office and back office capacity
- Ensure proper staffing of projects to include the right level of resources based on skills, experience and formal training / education to manage change processes.
**Desired Qualifications and Requirements**
- **Education**: Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance.
- **Experience**: Minimum 3 to 5 years of related work experience.
- **Skills**:Advance level of English.

- Develops and delivers innovative solutions and services that create value for customers and DP DHL
- Builds support for plans / strategies by actively reviewing and validating content with key stakeholders
- Anticipates potential risk and ensures appropriate contingency is agreed / built into plans and strategy
- Aligns and agrees to joint goals with other areas to drive collaboration
- Challenges current processes and structures constructively to improve and innovate
- Proactively partners with new colleagues to the area / organization to help them be more successful faster
- Actively engages in programs outside the organization that support individual / community development
- Is a role model across the area for the way they act
- Continuously challenges self to learn and grow, regularly revising development priorities once targets are achieved
