Process Engineers at Tooling Repair Bay (TRB) play a crucial role in optimizing output while ensuring safety and quality of operations. Their key responsibilities include:
- Collecting and evaluating operating data to optimize equipment performance and become an expert on various products.
- Responsible for PM follow-up, troubleshooting, spare parts management, and sustaining.
- Leading improvement processes to achieve collateral health and stability.
- Developing solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgment.
- Participating in safety and quality forums as required.
The Process Engineer conducts tests and measurements to ensure control over critical dimensions and defectivity. They also recommend and implement modifications to improve production efficiencies, test techniques, and optimize production output for existing products.
Accountabilities:Establish and submit processing requirements for designing and acquiring processing equipment. Exercise independent judgment and discretion by making recommendations and adjusting metrology and processes proactively to maximize module/TRB output.
Demonstrate strong communication skills, teamwork, and influencing abilities. Train technicians/engineers and lead by example. General knowledge of data analysis tools such as Jump, Minitab, PBI, SQL Pathfinder is required.
Requirements:- Bachelor's or Licentiate Degree in Electronic, Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronic, Electro Mechanic, or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in High Volume Manufacturing environment with experience in Problem Solving Methodologies, Data Analysis, JMP, Minitab, SQL, Pathfinder, and others.
- High Intermediate English Level.
- Computer Science knowledge.
- Knowledge of microprocessor test and finish equipment and process.
- LEAN and Six Sigma certifications.
