We are looking for a Calibration Technician to ensures routinely test of equipment and instruments to check that the reading and output meet expected results.
If a deviation is found, Calibration Technician will ensure that the equipment will be further analysed, adjusted, and repaired, as necessary.
The primary job is to ensure that calibration is done correctly, accurate readings are given, and in a timely manner according to the internal and external requirements.
You will report to Head of Quality at Coloplast Costa Rica Volume Manufacturing Site, Cartago.
Task & Responsabilities

Conducting calibration of production - and test equipment to industry standards.
Providing information and proposing to modify, schedule and execute the calibration plan, if required by changes in process parameters.
Installation of equipment or parts, when performing calibration

Supporting troubleshooting equipment failures (out of specification / expected ranges).
Routine testing, calibration, and monitoring of equipment.
Analysis and interpretation of calibration data.
Compilation of reports for management including KPI reporting.
Performing tasks and developments in accordance with the professional specialization.
Participation in the development and operation of calibration processes.
Ensuring that the Calibration system is up to date with calibration activities.
Participation in validation of machines and processes.
Conducting local procedures within the area of responsibilities, if appointed.
Active support on Qualification of local pieces equipment and tools owns by the Quality Department

**Qualifications**:
Have relevant Technical education within mechanical and/or electrical area.
High School diploma.
Technician degree, or diploma from a recognized education institute in Quality or Production with electronic or calibration background.
Min 3 years in calibration roles

Experience in regulated industries (e.g., medical device industry).
Knowledge of materials, machines, tools, and production processes.
Experience in industrial machine maintenance and setup.
Experience with Microsoft Office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Experience with ERP systems.
