Accounting Supervisor
- Full-time based in Costa Rica_

In this role, you will lead the Accounting Team and coordinate the work of several accounting associates in one or more core functions of accounting, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, or general ledger.
As the Accounting Supervisor, you will ensure procedures are in place to provide for the timely and accurate payment of invoices, for processing receivables on time, and to assure accurate and timely end reporting.
**A snapshot of this opportunity**
- Lead Accounting staff
- Lead the journal entry process and the close checklist process
- Support the interim and year-end financial audits
- Continuously work to streamline and automate the reconciliation process
- Review AP batch processes
- Contribute to the budgeting and forecasting process
- Provide ADHOC research and reporting to/for Manager, Director, and regional finance
- Perform annual performance evaluations and monitor and discuss quarterly

**How you can set yourself apart**
- Extensive experience in Public Accounting and knowledge of accounting software (SAP, PeopleSoft, Agresso, NIIF, Taxes, and Free Zone)
- Budget, forecast, and ADHOC reports experience
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload
- Ability to work extended and off-hours as required
