**What you'll be doing**:

- Design, deploy, document, and support cloud platform capabilities using AWS best practices (fault tolerant, High Availability, security, etc)
- Automate tasks to prevent unwanted conditions as well as automate tasks to recover from unexpected events
- Develop, test, and execute SQL queries to aid in the investigation and analysis of issues
- Perform advanced technical troubleshooting for cloud and e-commerce environments
- Document and implement workaround solutions wherever possible
- Document steps to reproduce for resolution with internal and external resources
- Document processes, procedures, and technical instructions for future reference and use by support teams
- Create/manage production/staging support tickets
- Communicating with both internal and external customers to achieve ticket resolution as quickly as possible
- Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation to support production incidents
- Mentor and guide junior members on the team to achieve team goals

**Qualifications**:

- 5+ years' experience in a system administrator role with at least 2 years supporting DevOps concepts focused on CI/CD and pipeline management
- Strong knowledge of the DevOps toolchain (CI/CD) on the AWS Linux platform: Jenkins, Nexus OSS< Artifactory, Harness, Code Pipeline, Code Build, Code Deploy, GitHub, GitLab, Chocolaty, CloudFormation, JIRA, Travis, etc.
- Strong understanding and experience with Service Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Mastery of fault tolerant approaches in a large-scale environment and high-performance systems
- Thorough knowledge in all aspects of designing and developing large, real-time systems
- Operationally savvy, experience with monitoring, alerting, and analyzing system metrics to root cause problems and explain system behavior
- At least 5 years' experience with Linux, SSH, PHP, HTML, CSS, XML, MySQL, Shell Scripting, and JavaScript
- Experience developing or supporting sites using API and SDK integration
- Knowledge of Linux, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML, and MySQL
- Experience with Splunk, DataDog, JIRA, and Service Now
- Knowledge of troubleshooting and implementing web technologies
- Strong client-facing communications skills by providing timely and frequent updates to clients through Service Now
- Demonstrates critical thinking capabilities and follows through with internal and external customers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (fluent in English)
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent job experience)
- Work with management to measure and improve customer satisfaction
