This Report Collection Analyst position provides a great opportunity to develop your research and critical thinking skills while delivering a high-quality customer experience. As a part of the VMware Global ELA Services Report Collection Team, the Report Collection Analyst will focus primarily on obtaining license deployment reports from Enterprise License Agreement (ELA) as part of the ELA expiration process.

This requires a self-starter who is results oriented and focused on delivering high quality work. Excellent English written grammar, acute attention to detail, exceptional problem-solving ability and flexibility are required.

**Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?**
- The primary objective of this position is to identify and understand standard ELA terms and conditions, leverage VMware tools to research customer information, maintain accurate documentation of relevant ELA contract and customer information into QuickBase, and ensure these actions are handled in a timely manner at a constant workflow.
- You will be expected to successfully collaborate with external and internal individuals to ensure submission of customer’s software deployment data.

**What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?**
- Generate reports from multiple systems in order to identify, research and compare customer ELA contracts and obtain other customer information.
- Document all relevant contract and customer information into QuickBase.
- Prepare and maintain customer profiles in SharePoint.
- Effectively communicate reporting obligations to, and work with, customers and internal teams to ensure submission of software deployment data.
- Identify gaps and initiate projects to improve report collection process. Identify work streams that can be automated and standardized to maximize efficiency and quality.
- Other projects, as necessary.

**What is the leadership like for this role? What is the structure and culture of the team like?**

You will be joining the Global ELA Services Team. The team is comprised of Report Collection Analysts, Data Analysts, Quality Reviewers and Compliance Specialists. The global team is spread throughout VMware offices including Palo Alto, CA, Austin, TX, and Heredia, CR. The position is located in Costa Rica and reports to a Global ELA Services Manager located in Palo Alto, CA.

**Where is this role located?**

Flexible: The role is considered flexible and will be a mix of working from a local VMware office and remote depending on your preferences and the arrangements determined with your future manager. You will be expected to live within a reasonable non-daily commute of the office.
