**the gig**

You provide an exceptional service experience You are on the front line, processing and facilitating quote requests from sales partners (internal sales teams, customers, sales agents). You liaise between our Pricing, Orders and Sales teams and verify customer order requirements, cleanse order-related data, and prepare it for upload into the internal quoting system. You are adept at developing and maintaining strong working relationships with internal cross-functional teams and external customers as you realize its critical to your success.

**what you’ll do**
- Manage relationships with internal and external customers to make their lives easier
- Provide remarkable support to our sales team so they can focus on selling
- Delight internal and external customers with unbelievably considerate care and attention to detail
- Develop and maintain your knowledge of Nitel products and services
- Cheerfully respond to customer inquiries and sales agent requests for quotes (RFQs) using our sales quoting system
- Generate, edit, update, refresh and distribute quotes to sales teams, customers, and agents
- Monitor quote turnaround time commitments on RFQs to ensure timely delivery to customers and utilize the escalation process, when appropriate
- Validate information received from sales, agents, and customers prior to uploading into quoting tool
- Investigate and respond to internal order inquiries
- Establish, maintain and updates files, database entries, and other working documents
- Perform customer-facing backup duties for sales personnel, when needed
- Make magic

**what you’ll bring to succeed**
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 2-3 years in a fast-paced sales support or customer service role or office work experience with customers, performing independent research, problem-solving, data entry, partnering with teams, using effective interpersonal /communication skills
- Telecom industry experience would be great, but it’s not required
- General computer and typing skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint); Internet savviness
- Advanced proficiency with Excel
- Proficiency with databases and the ability to learn complex systems (e.g., quoting and orders systems)
- Ability to actively listen, comprehend a myriad of things, and be detail-oriented with transactional work
- Sound numerical skills and excellent data entry skills
- Ability to learn quickly and multi-task; plate-juggling is in your DNA
- Ability to provide amazing support to a team
- Ability to make sense out of chaos and a love of working well under pressure
- Effective critical thinking skills and the ability to navigate through any situation
- Cheerful outlook and eagerness to take on additional responsibilities
