The Regional Financial Accounting Manager is responsible for ensuring market adherence to PMI accounting policies and financial controls as well compliance with local accounting and statutory filing requirements.

Your ‘day to day’:

- Managing timely and accurate period (monthly, quarterly, yearly) reporting of all financial data to company management to give a realistic and true picture of the financial results in the short, medium and long term.
- Manage the statutory financial reporting process to ensure, for interim and full year external reporting, timely preparation of legal entity financial statements and related footnotes.
- Ensure that the appropriate accounting standards are maintained in the processing of all accounting entries and the underlying transactions.
- Company's accounting reflecting the correct accounting and fiscal information, follows local and regional procedures, and abides to Central America and Caribbean laws and regulations.
- Develop and implement procedures and discuss software development for effective and reliable data collection from the factories/locations, to always produce accurate and complete information on company's financial and economic position.
- Coordinate with Share Service Center all activities processes and procedures related to General Ledger and Account Payables activities to ensure that transactions are timely and accurate presented in the accounting records.
- Coordinate activities related to external audits and the internal auditors by ensuring adequate availability of staff, systems and information. Coordinate the activities of statutory in order to present the realistic financial state of company business.
- Through effective communication contribute to increasing and maintaining the awareness of financial considerations as an integral part of the company's objectives. At own initiative propose changes to the processes that will improve communication and analysis of the data.
- Drive execution of controls in local financial statement preparation
- Cooperate with Financial Planner, R2R, P2P, Tax, Internal Controls, Regions to ensure company financial compliance and adherence to the PMI accounting policies and financial controls
- Responds to ad-hoc financial inquiries by gathering, analyzing, summarizing, and interpreting data
- Manage and lead the Financial Accounting Leads within the region (Central America and Caribbean).

Who we’re looking for:

- License’s Degree in Finance, Audit, Accounting or any other related field.
- 7+ years of experience in Finance Accounting and leading teams.
- Good understanding of accounting processes, organization, and operations.
- Knowledge and experience of working with USGAAP, Statutory Accounts, Risk & Controls (inc. SOX) and Corporate Tax
- Experience with Big 4 or similar is preferable.
- Proven ability to communicate across organization, to challenge constructively, assimilate different points of view and share your own opinion confidently, also with senior stakeholders.
- Experience in accounting and reporting is required.
- Driven and business-oriented person and an excellent team player with analytical and communication skills.
- Strong expertise in external and internal auditing standards.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Fluent written and verbal English language skills
