**Tax Associate**

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Carrying out checks of invoices from the fiscal perspective.
- Extraction and analysis of data from the various systems used in the department.
- Monitoring VAT Netting accounts and their reconciliation and also the WHT. (VAT Netting accounts are transitory bank accounts that are used for VAT(tax) purposes, and are controlled, checked and cleaned every month. Reconciliation means posting them from this transitory bank account to the balance sheet, The same case for the WHT.
- Prepare work papers for the declarations (WHT, VAT, Income tax, Etc).
- Being a key contact for Country specific topics and tax regulations and collaborating with all involved parties and assisting different departments.
- Provide training to various departments related to Tax Compliance
- Contribute to reduce and inclusive avoid fiscal and financial risks to all companies on scope through the execution of different controls and checks over transactional postings
- Provide updated information and trainings to SSCDN partners about country specifics and tax laws
- Promote control and risk management culture across the entire organization

WHO YOU ARE
- Bachelor University Degree or current student in administration, Accounting or relevant field. (mandatory)
- High level of English, spoken and written.
- 1-2 years of experience in Tax operations or Tax Compliance.
- Microsoft Office tools at a user level, high Microsoft Excel skills.
- Knowledge and previous experience in SAP in Tax Accounting-Compliance area preferred
- Customer oriented
- Communication skills and demonstrated teamwork spirit
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment
- Being a proactive person with initiative
